Text Reminders Provide Lift in Applicant Volume

In a world filled with distractions, most people have difficulty completing a task at hand. Whether their phone rings, their baby screams, or the light turns green, our minds are always elsewhere.

Having multiple forms of follow-up is more important than ever when trying to elicit a specific action from anyone.

This is why we have added text message reminder notifications for users who only partially complete a job application.

Since we’ve enabled this new feature, the percentage of applications completed has risen by 17%.

Multiple factors go into completed applications, so we can’t claim this jump is completely due to texting. The timing of the increase leads us to believe texting has been the major factor.

With most job applications, questions begin to get progressively more difficult or complex to answer as the applicant continues.

There could be certain questions on the application the user simply doesn’t have all the information handy to answer.

This results in them abandoning the process.

Luckily, Kwantek captures the user’s contact information at the beginning, and can remind them to continue the process should they stop.
